MUA are taking Industrial action at DP World sites across Australia.This action commenced last Sunday, 12 January 2020.

DP World Fremantle has been closed intermittently from Sunday night, 12 January 2020 due to technical issues. Since Tuesday, 14 January 2020, all 1300 and 2100 hour zones have been cancelled until further notice. Operations have ceased for all 1300 and 2100 hour zones and as a result, terminal gates will close for shift change at 1240 and will reopen at 1400, closing again at 2040 with receivals and deliveries at 2100 until 0600 the following working day.

 

Thursday 16 January 2020

Operations will cease for 1 hour at the end of every shift at 0500, 1300 and 2100 hours from Thursday 16 January 2020 until further notice.

 

Friday 17 January 2020

MELBOURNE – Operations will cease for 1 hour at the end of every shift at 0500, 1300 and 2100 hours from Friday 17 January 2020 until further notice.

SYDNEY – Operations will cease for 1 hour at the end of every shift at 0500, 1300 and 2100 hours from Friday 17 January 2020 until further notice. This action will cause delays in deliveries both this week and next week.

VGL will make every effort to reduce the impact of this action but unfortunately, there will be delays to some deliveries.
